So what's new in nail art?

Surely, I can't be  the only one to notice that there seems to be a new "nail effects" product hit the high street every single week! Whether it's nail pens, scented or even magnetic polishes, the nail art section of every brand seems to be expanding rapidly and their products are becoming ever more desired among shoppers.
Boots' SEVENTEEN range is no different, in fact, if anything they're leading the nail effect revolution! Whilst browsing around on Saturday I came across SEVENTEEN'S Off The Wall Graffiti Nail Effects, now as we all know with Boots, they can't seem to get into their heads that nail colour testing is just as important as foundation and concealer testing, so it's fair to say this was a impulse (hope for the best) buy!

Kiss goodbye to your spots for only £1!

I bet you're starting to think I'm some sort of Poundland obsessive... Well actually, I suppose I kind of am, as of late. However, with good reason! Now, I don't know whether you're aware, but recently the vast majority of Poundlands/worlds/stores have, for some reason, started stocking some extremely popular beauty brands such as make-up products from: Rimmel, Collection 2000 & Sally Hansen, but a few days ago, another big named brand caught my eye.

Neutrogena is a skincare brand we've all heard of and have likely to have tried out at some point. Renown for helping with the war against spots & acne, their products usually pack a rather hefty price tag, which is extremely off putting especially considering their products aren't even guaranteed to work! This is why I was shocked to see 2 of Neutrogena's best-sellers from their visibly clear range nestled among the skincare section in Poundland.

Do you daretodip ?

The Summer months are upon us (Although it's currently chucking it down with rain outside so I personally beg to differ!) Either way Summer means one thing, it's time to don the bikini and go chasing the sun!  Now, whether you're hitting the coast to catch some rays or if you're lucky enough to be jetting off abroad, your first swimsuit appearance of the year can be extremely daunting! This is where Nivea UK come in. The lovely people at Nivea are looking to ease your costume concerns and erase your tankini terrors as part of their daretodip campaign, which helps you get fully prepared to take take that first plunge!

DIY of the day!

I am the most unlucky person ever when it comes to earphones! I just can't seem to find a pair that will last any longer than 3 weeks. The only pair I've ever had that have withstood the excessive battering I give them, are the original, bland, white iPod headphones that you get with your device.

Despite them being strong, due to the constant tumbleweeding in my college bag, they're forever getting tangled ( the second bane of my life after my mammoth hair knots, see the pattern?!) and well, after spending some time scouring the internet for ideas on how to prevent the constant tangling, I came across Free Peoples wrapped earphones for $40... yes, that's $40 (£25 ish) for some earphones with a bit of wool wrapped around them! No me gusta! So, as per usual I thought, I could do that and here's what I did...

£1 Tangle Teezer alternative!

Here in my town we're "blessed" to have 3 Pound shops (As well as 5 Greggs bakeries, but that's a story for another day!) Anyway, recently on a stroll around the biggest of the 3 shops, I came across what looked to be a small plastic horse grooming brush. However, since it was among the entirely human hair care items, I knew this wasn't the actual case!

On closer inspection I soon realised this was the budget version of the much raved about Tangle Teezer called Tangle Attack. People must have deemed me mad when I decided to buy one, but as I have almost semi-Rapunzel hair,I was willing to try anything to conquer the mammoth sized knots I get!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't confused...

I've always thought that blogging is something I needed to do. This have sprouted from the amount of inspiration I gain from people's blogs on here. It's almost like a whole new world ( No Aladdin pun intended... well, actually there was!)

Anyway, I'd like to make it clear that I have no idea what I'm doing. But let's give it a bash eh?! I mean I don't even know what I'll be posting on here. Make-up reviews? Gig/album reviews? DIY projects? Who knows?!
